This is my point of view on pan Africa that is why i chose Gambia today because ,it is surround by nature at the same time wealth on role material this all things don't belong to them because of new colonize style , WE HAVE A FREEDOM TO SIT DOWN AND AND TALK AS LEADER , BUT WE DON'T HAVE A POWER TO LEAD OUR ECONOMY ,SOCIALLY,   POLITICALLY  THIS IS THE BENIFT AND THE DISADVANTAGE OF GAMBIA. But Gambia may got a chance to use disadvantage to advantage if AFRICA got pan-africanist ideology ,that is why DEUG 27  is working on Real Pan African-ism

with spiritual and physical and educational.

Gambia is British colony which should gain full independence by the end of 1964 .  it is surrounded by republic of Senegal .by the tends only about 15-25km . on the either side of the river but its eastern limits are almost 500 km from the cost.

the territory differs from other west African countries in three important ways

1. it is almost entirely limited to flood plain of the Gambian River and contain no area of highland .no part of the country rise of 200 meters

2.Gambia Rivers is navigable by the small ocean going more than 280  km .from the sea riverboats can navigate  the whole length of the river to the most easterly point in Gambia.

Average temperature are around 25 degree and the annual range of the temperature is about 15 D.C . The  harmattan wind blowing down the valley between December and March reduces temperature  and also bring dry air.the rainy season is June to November when between 750 and 1250mm. of rainfall is brought by the south west monsoon .

The chief occupation are therefore those of the dry zone .Groundnuts and cattle are the two most important products .there is considerable migration of workers to Gambia during  the period of the ground harvest .

The Gambia River Extended into the middle of the south parts of Senegal also acts as an outlet for Ground nuts grown in Senegal.

The chief food crops of Gambia is millet but the cultivation of rice is increasing on land nears the river which are flooded during the raining season.
