Africa Day or African Liberation Day, Carnival or Reality?

On the 25th of May 1963, 32 African leaders signed the Charter whose main objective was to declare that Africa must be totally Liberated in the hands of Colonialism and Neo-colonialism and to prepare the walls for the construction of an African Government. This was the only great spiritual mission left etched in the hearts and thoughts of not only the leaders present but the hope of thousands of African men throughout the world. It was not a carnival objective, much less a simple party as we are used to thinking today. Resolution No. 13 of the OAU Charter, on the title DECOLONIZATION is very clear in pointing out the day as African Liberation Day and not Africa's Day which should only be commemorated when all the resolutions are fulfilled which was not the role that the Current African Union is painting. We are not talking about a framework but a very important reality. The Organization for African Unity was modified by the African Union,(AU, just as the League of Nations was modified by the UN. In the case of the AU, all the leaders practically diverted attention from the fundamental result that we are currently experiencing in Africa that we are celebrating: Wars, Religious, economic, cultural and ideological dependence, emergence of White supremacy, ex Nazism, etc. Our leaders limit themselves to celebrating Africa, to see the picture of Africa Continent and say sme word. They did not materialize the initial plans and they are already thinking about 2065. They took the young people away from their nationalist and pan-Africanist political conscience, the fundamental objective of the establishment of this organization, closed the borders and sold all the lands to foreigners who were always against this project. Freedom is a fundamental requirement of Human spirituality. The day of the Liberation of Africa cannot be tolerated as the result of a neocolonial move and a simple fact. It is a great insult to celebrate Africa Day while signing contracts for our land to be dominated tomorrow and today by Neocolonialists and their children. Does not make sense. Our youth and communities must denounce the immediate downfall of those who are diverting attention from the fundamental objective of the OAU of May 63. We have nothing to do with the modernly fabricated Africa Day. The true day of Africa will be when Africa will have a single United and Prosperous Government based here in Ethiopia according to the vision of Haile Selassie and Nkwame Nkrumah, Amílcar Cabral and Sankara among others. Celebrating Africa Day as she portrayed it in the mirror is humanity's greatest crime. We must immediately bring down all African Governments that are unfocused from the spiritual dimension of this original foundation. Instead, we are going to support a World Pan-African Movement for the creation of a Pan-African Government here in Ethiopia to solve this problem, starting with the occupation of the former OAU facilities, today abandoned by a glass palace that does not dignify the Pan-African Struggle, on the contrary repudiates and humiliates the efforts of our fighter ancestors who watered the commitment of the revolution with their own blood.
