Ras Munda Uvé 12 Years 12 Initiatives From 2010 to 2022: Chapter 4: The Korrenti Activist Movement

The Movimento Korrenti de Activist was a movement launched publicly on January 20, 2013 in the year that the great Revolutionary Hero was honored for the 40 years of his brutal murder by the brutal system of Portuguese and international Imperialism. Cabral is considered the Father of the Independence of Guinea and Cape Verde, a Pan-Africanist and Humanist. The movement was created by the initiative of various organizations and agents of civil society with the main objective of raising the awareness of civil society for action and development and inclusion of communities on the periphery. The movement had great repercussions in Cape Verdean society for about 3 years. One of the main activities of the Movement was the Occupation of Pilorinhu on February 22, 2013. The movement was basically the result of a series of various social initiatives that had been developed since 2010, such as UVI – Unidos Venceremos para a Inclusão, Projecto Simenti (2011) and the Ghetto Parliament (2012). After the Pilorinhu Public Space Occupation, the Movement started to organize the Marcha Cabral every year, this being the first public announcement of the Movement. To this date, 10 editions of the Marcha Cabral have been held. This movement is about the contestation of the new youth generation on social inequalities, problems of youth violence, awareness of the Pan-Africanist movements and returns to our roots in our continent. Finally we can say that this movement was a fair tribute to our late comrade Amícar Cabral and to all the Revolutionaries who gave their lives for our Freedom and Conscience about the determination to Unite Africa. https://www.facebook.com/search/top?q=movimentu%20korrenti%20di%20ativista
