1963 OUA COMMEMORATIVE CONFERENCE, BELA 18, 20 to 21 MAY 2022

The May 63 in Addis Ababa, 3 years after Bikila won the world barefoot, can be considered a phenomenon of Struggle for African Unity. The father of the OAU, Emperor Haile Selassie I, warned us in this phenomenon that effective cooperation were the conditions for PEACE and HAPPINESS, while placing the highest responsibility in the world in the hands of his own people: the fate of the lives of all Africans. The African Man's Plant of Freedom Consciousness was growing from the first moment he was turned into a plantation and amusement slave by Western colonialism LEGITIMATED IN BERLIN CONFERENCE. Following the COLONIAL ACT DECISION, the "white colonizer man" began to evolve expressions of monstrosity and superiority that culminated in its highest point that we are now waching: the vocation for the destruction of humanity itself and this “plant” through chemical, biological and nuclear wars. in order to fully satisfy his thirst for Imperial Power. Henry Silverter Willian, from Trinidad Tobego, turned the Plantation Situation, was the founder of the first Pan-African conference 122 years ago, which brought together 32 delegations from various countries of the British colonies in London. The meetings that followed represented the ideal arenas for expressions of the value of the African man, from revolt to colonialism and the Neocolonialism. The leaders of these Pan-African movements fought an intellectual and moral struggle that not only culminated in the liberation of all of Africa in a first phase, but also projected human history towards their own awareness of Fundamental Human Rights and Destiny. The conferences, all over the world where they took place from London to Paris, New York to Bandung in Indonesia, from Cairo to Accra, from Brazaville to Addis Ababa, considered foreign domination as a denial of the Fundamental Humans Rights, contrary to to the letter of the United Nations, a real impediment to the promotion of peace and world cooperation. All these meetings reaffirmed in a single voice not only for 122 years but for a long time waited: Free and United Africa. Men and women from many African countries paid the price of their freedom with their own blood throughout this liberation process to prove the value of this conviction. Men and women from many African countries paid the price of their freedom with their own blood throughout this liberation process to prove the value of this conviction. These meetings reinforced the knowledge and determination of many real African revolutionary men who committed to water this plant with their own blood so that their nation could be this example of the goals of May 63 in Addis Ababa. This man can be easy reconized: Rastafari, Kematy, Cabral, Lumumba, Sankara, Keita, Nyobe, Rodney, Silá among others. The others, the story will put them on the traitor list. the others who decided to hand over to their Colonial Masters the fate of their own peoples will be listed by history as Traitors and will shame their children for eternity. This is a choice and nothing more, because Blaise Compoaré's examples continue. In February 2022 again representatives from several African countries gathered to talk about the fate of bilhions of Africans life in their hands. For months the Ethiopian people were made aware of their fundamental mission. Ethiopia's leader stated in front of everyone that the Pan-Africanist vision was the main key they needed. Today, we clearly know that we live under an intense yoke of Neocolonialism and imperialism, that their practices have taken over our social, political and cultural administrations but also our mentalities. Africa, the home of the African man is the richest in the world but at the same time with less security and peace because it is again literally in the hands of Cesar and Augusto. Will the same spirit that led Bikila in 1960 to win the barefoot world marathon and receive the torch of victory under the Arch of Constantine, the same arch that represented the “unification of Rome, guide us today to the destiny of United Africa too? The answer is up to each one according to his life and his work following this mission.
