It was certainly a fair tribute and reward to the men who gave their own lives for the liberation of the Nation.
It is almost impossible to describe the feeling of the Ethiopian People in General and the African people from all over the world towards the feeling of that May 5th, 1941.
The moment was remembered again after 81 years. In representation of the ceremony, 9 elements of our Foundation were present, all aware of that historic act for Humanity.
We arrived on foot on a 20-minute march from our community Bela 18 early morning after after being woken up at 6am, 07 am in the morning, with a few rounds of gunfire to start the day. . Our group had the right to march towards the monument of the Rotunda and wait for the moment for the great March which is the tour around the famous monument in front of the representatives of the Government of the embassies and the President of Republic of Ethiopia Sahle-Work Zewde.
This was the moment we carried the honor as an African. At the moment, we feel great pride in being part of the Nation and in singing the national anthem together in this liberation project that will one day be definitive for Africans.
